This is a calculator to help make accurate costs for custom characters with the 'Melee Attack' special ability. An example will be posted below to show step-by-step how this calculator works.
STEPS:
1. Start with the base stats. (Shown below)
2. For every increase to the base stats and/or addition of Special Abilities, Force Powers, or Commander effects, the cost of the figure will increase accordingly.
3. Total up all the points you accumulated and that is the approximate cost of your figure.
4. You may adjust the final cost if it seems too high or too low. An increase or decrease of more than 10 points is not recommended.

Force 1: +1 cost

Force Powers:
Force Powers range from +2/3 cost to +6 cost. You might need to add extra points depending on the synergy between abilities and Force Powers; as low as +1 cost for slight synergy or +15 cost for extremely powerful synergy.

+6 cost for 'Force Renewal 1'.
+7.5 cost for 'Force Renewal 2'.
+9.5 cost for 'Force Renewal 3'.

+1 cost, +4.25 if the figure has Twin Attack.
